Live Fashion Hair, the ‘Made in Canarias’ project created and promoted by Tenerife native Orlando Martín, celebrates 10 years of inspiring the global beauty industry.
Ten years have passed since Live Fashion Hair was born as a dream, and it continues to be a source of inspiration for millions of professionals in the beauty world today. “Throughout this decade, we have gone through tough times, even moments when we considered giving up,” confesses Orlando Martín, founder and director of the platform. “But we have also experienced moments full of laughter, tears, unity, and friendship. Our 'baby' has grown, becoming a global reference that connects thousands of hairdressers, makeup artists, nail art artists, and key figures in fashion,” he proudly asserts.
This documentary is more than just a story; it is a reflection of the effort, passion, and dedication of the entire Live Production team, where alongside Orlando Martín, well-known personalities in the industry such as Jorge Cáncer, Vishal Baharani, and Byrd Mena stand out, along with the talent of creative director Gumi Gutier. “Of course, we also want to thank Booksy, the Commerce Department of Tenerife, and IBS for their unwavering support,” Martín adds.
This year, the Live Fashion Hair team is doubling down on its international commitment, presenting its inspiring proposal on major North American stages for its first two shows: this year's premiere will take place in the incredible setting of IBS New York, where in addition to the presentation of the new documentary, they will hold masterclasses and carry out an exclusive hair show. This will just be a small preview of what awaits us at IBS Las Vegas, from June 21 to 23, 2025.
