What are the TCT Awards?
The TCT Awards are a photographic hairdressing competition organized by THE CODE TEAM.
Our offices receive hundreds of collections and press packages every year.The intention of the TCT Awards, is to provide notoriety to professional hairdressers in photography and presentation of their fashion work.
The collections are judged by a group of experts from the world of makeup and hairdressing fashion.
TCT AWARDS 2018-2019 participation is underway and you have time until The 30th of June of 2019, to send us your hairdressing fashion collections.
Each year, more and more hairdressers from around the world participate in the event, with a record of more than 300 participants from twenty-five countries that participated in the last edition.
This year, the 2019 TCT AWARD CEREMONY will take place during the LIVE 019 hairdressing event, which will take place on the incredible island of Gran Canaria (Spain)
If you are a hairdresser, it is easy to participate in this competition: just send an email with your collection to info@livefashionhair.com before the 30th of June of 2019 with your credits and the name of your collection marked in the mail.

How can I participate?
If you are a hairdresser, it is easy to participate in this competition. Just send us an email with your collection to info@livefashionhair.com before the 30th of June of 2019 with your credits and the name of your collection, marked in the mail.
We need Instagram and Facebook credits.
Aimed at the most acclaimed hairdressers, creativity and technique are rewarded, we ask for a long professional career.
General requirements for participation
Being over 18 years. Being a professional Barber or Hairdresser.
A collection of 3 to 4 photographs must be presented with 3 or 4 different hairdressing jobs, by category to which they wish to present themselves.
All the collections will be presented directly by the participants through the email info@livefashionhair.com. The collections presented to any of the categories must be works carried out between 2018/2019. Hairdressers can apply, regardless of the brand they work in their salon. With the sending of the mail, we take for granted that the professional has the image rights, and they give us transfer of image rights to the awards.
Tecnical requirements
Images in JPG format must have a resolution of 300 dpi in RGB mode and a size of 20x30 cm. In any case, each image can not exceed 10 Megabytes of information.
Photographs can not be marked with the logo or name of the contestant. The use of extensions and accessories is allowed. The photos can be in black & white or color. The images do not have to be only head and shoulders, but they should put special emphasis on hair, especially in regard to lighting and pose.The photographers and make-up artists in the collection must be professionals.
With the sending of the mail, we take for granted that the professional has the image rights, and they give us transfer of image rights to the awards.
Specific requirements for Best Hairdresser of the Year
You can only access this category by invitation. Those selected must send their portfolio of the year 2018/2019. Once the material is received, the jury of TCT awards will decide who is the winner.
Category destined to the most consecrated hairdressers. Creativity and technique are rewarded as well as having a long professional career.
Specific requirements for Best Beauty Photographer
We reward the specialization of photography in the area of fashion hairdressing.
You must send a collection of at least 4 photos with a completely open theme but without forgetting that the basis is photography in the area of fashion hairdressing.
We also value your general portfolio for the year 2018/2019 in order to assess your versatility. It is important to know more about you, so please do not forget to tell us your website, social networks or news that you consider of special relevance.
